Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Gurara, Niger State. You will be based at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
