Reinforcement steel fixer • Russell County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Russell County, Virginia. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On the job you will handle: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
