Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Holt County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
