GTAW welder • Carlisle County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Carlisle County, Kentucky. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
