Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Cedar County, Iowa. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces You will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls.
