Immediate opening: dumper truck operator (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dumper truck operator in Van Wert County, Ohio. Your main tasks: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
