Reinforcement steel fixer wanted in Karnes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Karnes County, Texas. You will work at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift $26 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
