Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in McDonough County, Illinois. The role involves fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
