AC mechanic • Jersey County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Jersey County, Illinois. You will work at a refrigeration and cooling firm. On a typical shift you will evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing. What we are looking for: • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
