Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Bullitt County, Kentucky. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Rotating shifts.
