Join our team: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in North Somerset, England. You will work at a busy production line. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Overtime paid at a premium rate.
