Fabricator-welder — Phillips County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Phillips County, Arkansas. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. The role involves select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 3+ years on the tools preferred.
