Short order cook wanted in DeSoto County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a short order cook in DeSoto County, Mississippi. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. On a typical shift you will check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces. Requirements: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Full-time with occasional weekends.
