Gang bricklayer — Dale County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Dale County, Alabama. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Your main tasks: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
