Materials handling operator wanted in Southend-on-Sea

Vacancy available: we are hiring a materials handling operator in Southend-on-Sea, England. The job is at a container loading yard. On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-shift checks on the forks, tyres, mast and hydraulics • Keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit • Position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load • Operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles • Log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book Ideal candidate: • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
