Argon welder • Owyhee County, Idaho

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Owyhee County, Idaho. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
