What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
