Now hiring: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Guadalupe County, New Mexico. Day to day you will work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer. Ideal candidate: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
