GMAW welder wanted in Saint Landry Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence.
