Gas service engineer • Lee County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Lee County, Illinois. Day to day you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
