Great opportunity: we are hiring a canteen cook in Cotton County, Oklahoma. The job is at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
