Day-to-day duties: • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register • Monitor the CCTV screens in the control room • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover Ideal candidate: • Trained in basic fire-fighting and first aid • Valid PSARA / security guard licence 1+ years on the tools preferred.
