Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
