Wood machinist wanted in Barber County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Barber County, Kansas. You will work at a shopfitting company. On a typical shift you will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. What we are looking for: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Full-time with occasional weekends.
