Concrete finisher • Faribault County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Faribault County, Minnesota. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. Ideal candidate: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
