You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Your main tasks: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
