Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Genesee County, New York. The job is in a tool room. Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
