Great opportunity: we are hiring a groundsman in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. Day to day you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
