On a typical shift you will replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; insulate and ventilate the roof void; carry out leak inspections and patch repairs; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling. You should have: • A good head for heights and steady balance • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
