Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Saguache County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Saguache County, Colorado. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. The role involves: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Ideal candidate: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience.
