Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Branch County, Michigan. The job is at a new-build housing development. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline You will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
