Confectioner — Richland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in Richland County, Wisconsin. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
