Join our team: tig welder (West Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Hancock County, West Virginia. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Six days a week, one day off.
