Great opportunity: pipe tig welder (Iowa)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Humboldt County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
