Fire and safety officer — Ibeno

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Ibeno, Akwa Ibom State. You should have: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates 6+ years on the tools preferred.
