Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Richland County, Wisconsin. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
