Plasterer's mate — Bristol County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Bristol County, Massachusetts. The role involves apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
