Great opportunity: we are hiring a floor screeder in Michika, Adamawa State. The job is on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours The role involves: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab Full-time with occasional weekends.
