Join our team: we are hiring a joiner in City of Suffolk, Virginia. You will work in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day to day you will read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
