Acoustic insulation fitter — Dade County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Dade County, Georgia. The job is at an industrial plant. What we are looking for: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Day-to-day duties: • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness Full-time, day shift.
