Restoration bricklayer • Northampton County, North Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Part-time with flexible hours.
