Gas pipe fitter — Talbot County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Talbot County, Maryland. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. Ideal candidate: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
