Immediate opening: we are hiring a container truck driver in Bergen County, New Jersey. The job is at a busy distribution depot. The role involves: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars Ideal candidate: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
