Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE On a typical shift you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
