Join our team: we are hiring a pressman in Abbeville County, South Carolina. The job is in a tailoring workshop. You will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; give each garment a final press before packing. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Full-time, day shift. $5,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
