Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Copper River Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes Your main tasks: • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames Rotating shifts.
