Reinforcement fitter • Parker County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Parker County, Texas. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
