We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Dubois County, Indiana. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
