Join our team: lifting rigger (Plateau State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Jos South, Plateau State. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
