Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Iwajowa, Oyo State. The job is at a high-rise construction project. The role involves: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Requirements: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
